The Gerber baby contest is expected to be the most popular baby contest in 2016.
The 2015 baby photo contest had more than 150,000 entries.
This picture was selected as the Grand Prize Winner of the 2015 contest and received prizes that were worth over $50,000!

When is the 2016 Gerber Baby Contest?
You can submit photos of your children beginning on September 7, 2016 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) up until October 28, 2016 at 11:59 PM ET.
How old can my children be for the 2016 Gerber Baby Contest.
This years contest is accepting pictures of children from birth up to 48 months (4 years old)

What age categories are there in the 2016 Gerber Baby Contest?
You can enter your child in one of six milestone categories based on their age. The six categories are – birth, supported sitter, sitter, crawler, toddler or preschooler.
If my child is older than 4 are there other contests that I can enter?

How many pictures can you enter in the Gerber Baby Contest?
The 2016-2017 Gerber Baby Contest allows you to enter one picture for each of your children that are under 4 years old.
If you submit more than one photo of the same child, all of your entries will be voided. Any attempt to enter multiple submissions by using alternative emails or other methods will also void all of your entries. That’s why it’s important to enter the picture that has the best chance of winning.

If I have a really cute picture of my baby from last year can I use it for the Gerber Baby Contest
No – the rules for the Gerber Baby contest require that the photo used for the contest is not more than thirty days old. If you are selected as the one of the winners, you may have to provide documentation regarding the age of the photo.
I paid a professional photographer to take my baby’s picture, can I enter it in the 2016 Gerber contest?
No – you can not enter photos that were taken by a paid professional. In addition you can not enter any photos that have won previous awards or contests.

Who Judges the Gerber Baby Contest?
Individuals vote for each of the milestone category winners. Individuals can visit Gerber’s website and register to vote. Each registered voter gets one vote per milestone category per day for the duration of the voting period.
The Grand Prize Winner for the Gerber Baby Contest will be selected from among all of the eligible photos submitted and will be judged by a panel of judges.
Can You Vote for the Gerber Baby Contest?
Yes – you will be allowed to vote in this years contest. The requirements can vary from year to year.
When will the Winners Be Announced?
The Gerber Baby Contest Winner will be contacted around January 31, 2017.
What Are the Prizes for the 2016-2017 Gerber Baby Contest?
There are two prize categories within the Gerber Baby Contest.
There are six milestone winners – one for each of the milestone categories birth, supported sitter, sitter, crawler, toddler and preschooler. Each milestone winner will receive a $3,500 check plus $750 worth of clothing from Gerbers Childrenswear the estimated total value is $4,250.
The Grand Prize Winner receives a check for $50,000 plus a second check for $15,540, $1,500 in Gerber Childrenswear and other opportunities. The total prize package has an estimated value of $67,040
What Type of Pictures Win the Gerber Baby Contest?
The judging criteria defined in the Official Gerber Baby Contest Rules are 1) visual appeal of the child or children, 2) expressiveness and 3) consistency with Gerber’s heritage and Growing Up Gerber Mission.
